The company was founded in 2001.
What are your opening hours?
Our business hours are: Weekdays - 7:00am - 5:30pm & 7:30am - 1pm on Saturdays.
We close for national holidays.

Are you only New York based.
Our warehouse is located in Yonkers, New York, we deliver to lower Connecticut, regions in New Jersey and Long Island. Other special delivery arrangements can be made.
Are you a public company?
No. Celtic is privately held by the original founders.
What does 'Celtic' mean?
The name reflects the origins of the company founders cultural background. The term Celtic refers to a northern European culture, dating back to before 6th century BC.

PRODUCTS

What products do you sell?
Everything for commercial and residential construction. We cover it all.
Do sell products for home-owners.
Yes. We stock everything for dedicated DIY'ers. Everything from small electrical switches to the latest power and hand tools.
Do you custom mix paint?
Yes. We're fully equipped with a computerized mixing system.
Do you do custom cuts?
Yes - On Corex, Homasote and lumber.
What if want a certain product but don't see it on your site?
We stock a vast diverse range of products and cannot display all. Simply call 914 665 8864 to speak to a sales consultant who can provide you the relevant availability.
Do you supply material safety data sheets?
Yes. We furnish upon request material test reports (M.T.R.'s), material safety data sheets (M.S.D.S), and factory test certificates to provide evidence of compliance with industry safety and metallurgical specifications.
Do you have a restocking fee?
Yes - normally 20%.

ORDERING

Do I need an account to order.
We'll be happy to process your first order immediately if you wish to pay cash or credit. For credit accounts we offer standard 30 day net terms on open accounts to existing business customers. To open and account today, call 914-665-8864. If your company rating in Dunn & Bradstreet supports the dollar value of your first order, we'll open your account. If your company is not rated in D & B, you can apply for an open account with three trade references, a bank reference and our credit application. If you do not have an open account with us, special/non-stock orders will require payment in advance.
How do I order?
You can order by phone by simply calling a sales consultant at 914-665-8864. If you a have a product question or want to check availability they can also assist. In addition you can fax your order to 914-665-8865.
Do you do special orders?
We specialize in finding those hard to find items - just call us at 914-665-8864.
Do I need to confirm orders?
In an effort to reduce the cost of doing business for both our companies, it is not necessary to send confirming orders for routine items or for small dollar amounts which have been previously ordered by phone or fax. We suggest you only confirm special orders.

PAYMENT

What is your minimum billing?
On orders of less than $250, a minimal fuel charge will apply based upon fluctuating fuel prices. On deliveries after 3pm, a minimal delivery charge will apply.
Do I pay tax on all products?
We are required by law to charge all applicable local and state taxes on items for which a sales tax exemption certificate has not been provided. Under state law, a copy of your tax exemption certificate must be on file in our office. When placing orders, please advise our inside sales professionals when tax items are tax exempt.
Do you except American Express.
Yes. All major credit cards are accepted - Amex, Mastercard, Visa
Can I pay with a check?
Yes checks are accepted.

DELIVERY

When will my order ship?
We ensure that 99% of all locally stocked items are shipped on the same day they are ordered or for next day delivery, depending upon the customer's requirements.
Do you offer same day delivery
Yes - if your order is placed before 11am, subject to distance will be delivered the same day.
How far will you delivery.
Our core delivery area is the 5 boroughs of New York, Westchester county, lower Connecticut and regions of New Jersey. Special delivery arrangements can be arranged if your location is not in the afore mentioned.
Do I get free delivery if my order is $100?
All orders under $250 will require a fuel surcharge.
What's the earliest I can get my delivery?
Generally orders in the immediate NYC area can be on site by 6-7am
What's happens if there is a problem with a delivered product?
A satisfied customers is our most valuable asset. Shipments should be verified immediately upon arrival at your facility. Errors, if any, should be reported to us at once. If merchandise exhibits external errors, be certain to note this on the driver's receipt and contact our main office. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
